It is also evident that you love your children and wish to give them the best opportunities to grow, develop and achieve, in other words, to reach their best. Since you want the best for your child, you can almost never start planning too soon. One thing is for sure, if you start planning late, options and possibilities diminish. Parents place a tremendous amount of trust in teachers, counselors and principals. However, who is actually overseeing the whole process? Furthermore, even committed college counselors are burdened to the point of not being able to give students the care and attention students need to optimize their applications. The journey to college and career success is long and arduous, and shouldn’t begin just as the student prepares to apply.
